The music is great, although the story isn't that exciting. This is the kind of play you'll want to see at some point in your life. The theatre is very big, and we could barely make out people's faces from the back of the top balcony.
A "classical" musical that you should see if you love old-fashioned musicals. The musical numbers are elaborate and the actors are very talented singers. I personally didn't enjoy most of the songs and I got bored by the story itself.
See it once because everyone else has. Wasn't crazy about it first time I saw it and after the fourth time seems more like a dentist's visit. Why four times then? It's the first show non-Broadway lovers wish to see.
One of the best musicals on Broadway. It has a phenomenal score (of course it does; Andrew Lloyd Webber wrote it), an out-of-this-world set/costumes, and some of the best performers in NYC. Wonderful, wonderful production, inside and out!
I would just like to know why an amazing classic and the longest running Broadway show does not have 5 stars...This show is full of dark twisted romance that only certain shows can obtain with with the vibe of mystery and love it gives the audience goosebumps in a way that they will want to see it a million times more -I💚BROADWAY-
