The Imbible: A Spirited History of Drinking
Join mixologist and raconteur Anthony Caporale for a boozy romp through the history of spirits and cocktails in this Fringe smash comedy with drinks and music. Like any good bartender, he keeps his guests laughing throughout the night, combining his knowledge of beverage history and decades of bartending experience with hisskills as a storyteller and entertainer. A 10,000-year journey through history and across the globe accompanied by craft cocktails and the vocal stylings of The Backwaiters a cappella group. The Imbible is a spirited look at the history and science behind alcoholic beverages and their economic and political impact on our cultural development, with live demonstrations and tastings.
