Of Mice and Men
James Franco and Chris O'Dowd are George and Lenny, an unlikely pair of friends who, while searching for the American dream, end up in a nightmarish situation. George and Lenny, two migrant workers in Depression-era California, long for a farm and a home of their own. But when they take up work on a California ranch, their dreams — "like the best laid schemes of mice and men" — go tragically awry.Average Rating: based on 1 votes

This is one of my favorite books of all times. The play was very good and I think as close to the book as possible with only one problem, Franco's George's character. All my group felt the same, he is not compasionate and loving towards Lennie but annoyed and angry this gives a completely different understanding of the story than what we believe Steinbeck wanted. O'Dowd was AMAZING same as the rest of the crew.
