Macbeth
Ethan Hawke reunites with director Jack O'Brien for this new production of a work that is widely considered to be one of Shakespeare's darkest and most powerful tragedies. One of Shakespeare's great tragedies, Macbeth charts the unseemly lust of overwhelming ambition. In it, Macbeth sells his soul to become king, eventually bringing the terrible consequences of his actions upon himself and his fellow Scots.

REVIEWS

Visually this production is gorgeous, and the witches are handled very well, but the cast is inconsistent and it feels a little half-assed. Ethan Hawke's take on the role has taken some criticism - it's certainly different and not my favorite Macbeth, but it has its moments.
