9 To 5 is a Broadway musical and comedy that follows three women who work in an office in the 1980's. Their boss acts like a "sexist pig", and eventually the women get fed up with him and take matters into their own hands.
9 To 5 was a mediocre musical. I don't often enjoy musicals, and there was a fair bit of singing and dancing here, but it wasn't as offensive as some other musicals I've seen. The story was fairly entertaining, and think that helped me put up with the boring song bits. The music itself was below average. There wasn't anything particularly memorable about any of the songs.
9 To 5 is a family friendly show, although younger children probably won't find it all that interesting.
Entertaining, good music and if you wish to go deeper relevant social statement.
I was pleasantly surprised by 9 to 5. I wasn't expecting much going in, but it was very entertaining. The music was fun and lively, the sets were elaborate, and the story and dialog were very funny. The singing and acting were very good. The story covered topics of prejudice, sexism, and the rise of women in the business world.
