This show is an adorable romp through everyone's memory (or fantasy -- for those deprived) of a Catholic school education. Charles Busch is his hilarious, incomparable self and his fellow cast-mates add gleefully malicious, naive and spiritual (depending on the character) twists to the zany story. There's a decided "insider" feel to some of the jokes and sight-gags but everyone has a good time.

The Divine Sister is an off-broadway comedy that I found slightly more amusing than average. The show takes place in St. Veronica's convent school and follows Mother Superior and a couple other nuns as they try to raise money to restore their building.

There is a little bit of singing, a lot of silly humor, and a couple dark secrets that make this a fairly enjoyable 90-minute show. Most of the humor is pretty tame, and the show isn't as edgy (or as enjoyable) as Avenue Q.
