REVIEWS
If you love ABBA, which I do, then you'll definitely enjoy the music and the fast pace of this musical. The story, though, is simple and unoriginal.
Such a great musical, wonderful songs, energetic cast, and a fun story all help to make this show a crowd-pleaser
How does this show keep going. I guess there are more Abba fans in the world than I thought.
I saw Mamma Mia with a friend, and were very happy with the show. The great Abba music brought us back to our days in the 70's. The story was so ridiculous it was fun, and the music impressed us!
The show is great if you like the music of Abba. Otherwise, I would not recommend seeing it.
Recently attended (May/2011) at the Winter Theatre Garden and Michelle Dawson played the part of Donna, which killed the magic. She sang so low that it was impossible to hear her. The rest of the cast was wonderful, but Dawson's low pitch was not Broadway quality.
